Light in built house?
Am i missing something or is there no light to build inside own built houses? It gets real dark if you build a "roof".

You can try to get a lamp from a nearby house I think. Maybe. Not sure about that, tho.

There are lights that you can pick up and move. The outside lights on houses, lamps and some houses have lights on the walls. These lights can be turned on and off by interacting with the light if the light is within range of a generator and has a good light bulb in it. These lights go through light bulbs way too quickly in my opinion but they do work. The room lights that are turned on and off with a switch cannot be moved and there is no way to build them. There is also a post with a flashlight on it that can be built, I have never built it so I am not sure how well it works. Candles provide some light too but I have never messed with them enough to know if they are viable. I guess I always take the cat's eye trait, very worth it in my opinion.

You can also grab table lamps and use those, especially as they're easier to move when you have low electrics skill (iirc the outdoors lamps on houses require lv3 or something before you can move them, though I could be misremembering).

That's assuming you haven't already disassembled all the lamps grinding your skill ;p

Lamps are great for this purpose. They're also great for testing out the perimeter for your generator setup, assuming you can be at least a little proactive before the power goes out. Don't forget the outside lighting you can steal from houses as well.

^ those outside lamps suck that is why. Some of them work well others do not or feel like they emit no light at all. Flood lights are a good bright source
