is it the only way to raise electrical skills? I've searched big warehouse in Muldraw, Car repair shop and a bunch of small households with big boxes - I've found 0 screwdrivers. WTF tho

In one of my runs i actually did not find a hammer even in warehouses...sometimes the RNG does hate you....also check cars, for some reason you have a better chance of finding a screwdriver in trunks.

RNG really screws you sometime, no pun intended. I have just under 1600 hours at the moment. I've found exactly one katana lol. Yet I can find a saxophone in any nook and cranny you can imagine.
If worse comes to worse, screwdriver is one of the random 'left in zombie' weapons you can find on roamers. Hopefully one will turn up to gift it to you.

I'm 20 hours into my current playthrough and have not found a single welding mask. Check warehouses and hardware/supply stores. There is also a hardware store in West Point that has some hard to find materials and tools.

I found exactly two the first one in a car trunk, the second one in the fourth or fifth warehouse i raided.
