Does this game work on a macbook pro 2015?

So my monitor broke and playing on macbook laptop now looking for some simpler games to play.
Does this work on macbook and well optimized?

Honestly do not know off the top of my head. I remember there being an issue with older macbooks that have Nvidia cards because Nvidia/Apple stopped offering driver updates and/or support for certain OpenGL version, but do not remember what model/year it started/stopped and could be misremembering.

The best thing you can do to find out would be to get the game, then subscribe to the Build 41 Beta:

See if/how it runs for you and make sure not to get above the 2 hour playtime in order to still be eligible for a refund via Steam support if the game doesn't hold up.

Build 40 runs pretty well on an old 2014 MacbookPro 15" retina, Iris Pro graphics. You have to turn off the steam overlay though, or else you just get a black screen during the into, which I found out from another discussion. There seem to be a couple glitches with beta build 41 at the moment. For me, all characters have no models (are invisible) and all cloths are just plain grey flat shapes, as if the textures aren't loading right.
