Does builder mode hinder a new players ability to learn the game? (Built 41)
I'm pretty new to this game and It's Brutal to say the least. I was wondering if builder mode changes the core gameplay too much like some other games. some will disable certain mechanics or add annoying crutches and I wasn't sure if PZ does any of that. I have a hard time learning what the game has to offer because all of it is a bit overwhelming to me (I suck at games lol) and was curious about easy mode (Builder). I want to be able to take my time and learn things but the first week seems to be a race against the clock. Once I understand wtf Im doing I would love to play Apocalypse but right now it seems to be a bit too much for me. :slimetabby:

Explore the sandbox options and tweak the game till you like it.

I didn't even think of sandbox mode lol. I'll try looking at the setting and stuff. (Thanks for the fast reply)

Welcome. There's a ton of different options and settings to go through. You can find out mostly what they do on the wiki.

I'm a relatively new player myself.
First I went with the game's standard difficulty (apocalypse) to see what the game wants from me. Then I went into sandbox and tinkered a lot with the options to get what I want from the game.

Took me a while to confidently walk among thousands of zombies but with the right strategy and some practice, things will go more and more your way. But you need to be always careful... it's so easy to make one mistake and lose your game to a single scratch.
