2.3k in 2 months

Did you melee them all?

@Animalman I would hope they used Brita weapons and got a spicy suppressed shotgun to get those kills.
Usually how my runs go.

Dude I got 1.5k was my highest and I did it in 48 hours. Should be more but the burning zom don’t count. But I did loot the gunshop and it wasn’t over, I had all of the Rifle rounds and two thirds of the pistol rounds to get through still. West Point was 50% clear. 2.5k in two months melee means if he focussed that in a single area on no respawn he would have cleared the place.

I stood in a campfire and nearly died too, lmao. I was trying to do body disposal of this huge pile of dead zeds outside my base. Definitely not going to do THAT again.

Got over a thousand kills and I've mostly only used spears. :)

Started the day at 4K kills, went to the mall with a car full of spears and came out with 7K in 3 in-game days. (3 hour days)

Just on normal time speed if you have the shot gun ammo an entire day of shooting from a vehicle doesn’t use much gas. And if you roll down a long straight road while doing it you’ll soon move everyone into an area that’s easy to escape from. A full day from awake until ridiculously tired you will kill 500 zom. Non stop shooting maybe a bite to eat and cigarette just shooting. 2 or 3 days will make available probably 20 to 40 absolut safe buildings to loot or live in. Shotgun be blasting on average 2 - 3 kills, and usually merely damaging the 4th per shot. But sometimes 4 per shot.

You can expect to kill at very minimum of twice as many zombies as you have shotgun rounds

At high end if you had 10 cases of shells you’d have about 300 rounds. That’s in reality about 700-900 kills.

Fire hot, fire bad.

Btw, when you survive an injury by fire, the scars seem to remain on the character and do not go away. I guess like in real life.

Do you turn into a small pile of ash instantly after you die irl too? My character could of fit in a car ashtray

Brooooooooooooo. I died a similar way. Had a really good run and a kick butt follower (with the NPC mod) and a random group attacked my home, killed my follower and left me nearly dead. I had to burn the bodies and on the LAST batch, I stepped onto the funeral pyre. Didn't kill me but left me stranded at home with nasty burns for about two weeks eating my emergency stuff until raiders broke in and killed me for good.

Maybe if it was a baby or a child? haha. I'm not sure. Smallest and most compact I've seen someone's ashes after cremation is on a small urn that you could hold in one hand.

Had the campfire death a few times but the worst for me was setting myself on fire accidentally while burning a pile of corpses after a 3 month run...:steamsad:
