Can't read books for some reason

So, I started a new game ofc and I want the xp boosts that books give but when I try to read a begginners book, it shows the error message on the right bottom corner, and no I'm not taking the illiterate trait and I have disabled all mods that adds books, because my character can read magazines with no problem, it's just only with books, does anyone have the same problem or it may be my mods messing with the updates?

Note your list of mods somewhere handy, then kill every mod on your save. Slowly add until your game is borked again. You'll find your culprit.
Disclaimer: If you're on the very latest beta mods will likely need to be redone. The above will work on 41.50 though.

Same problem here
After reverting back to 41 to continue my save I have this problem as well, I do backup my save daily so I tried to reload any save few days back, no luck.

And I can read magazines without problem as well.

Its probably the extra skills mod I disabled mine and I manage to read books again

I disabled it as well, but I keep having the same problem, so I'm not sure what it is

Had errors pop up occasionally as well but it never stopped the character from successfully reading.
If mod/s are disabled try a new save without them and read, might help weed out the issue.

No, I tried from a container and from a backpack, my character just grabs the book and puts it on their inventory and never read it
