Or you could consider it as in 1.0 now....with every new update being a free DLC
It's a great game overall and I would recommend it to survival game fans but it's clear their team has management / resource issues when it comes to development, but the positive to this i suppose is they don't rush out content.
I guess I'm partly asking, what can I expect from the game at this point. I understand it's a sandbox survival experience but what key features does it have now, and what is it still missing?
No NPCs yet, but they're a big part of the game so the next few builds (42, 43 etc) will focus mainly on them. They're the only key thing missing really at this point for the game to be 'complete'.
Here's the plan after Build 41 is released to the stable branch:

Do you know if curved streets are planned? Now that vehicles are in those sharp 90° turns seem completely out of place in rural areas and they are also don't feel good to drive.
Are there any plans to change the map to support different heights? I imagine that could be challenging to implement with vehicles. Ultima Online had a tile based map that displayed height differences, made for a much more immersive map.
There was a video about curved roads a few weeks back in an update video, that one of the devs is working on it.
About height difference the only place i encountered it is the train yard near Muldrough.
Ah I guess I didn't see that one, great to hear!
I mean height differences on the map itself. Like I said, Ultima Online did it like that.
For me the game is fun and worth, as a EA title, so I dont really care how long, as long as it there is no extra cost to get to 1.0.
At 1.0 then I will judge the game, and the team.
1 achieved, job done.
