This guy is right
Seriously, if you play on PC, you 'need' a gaming mouse
With a good gaming mouse, you can just move most control keys to the mouse
So much better...not even talking about way better handling
How can some people have 100+ games and still play with their crappy 3 buttons standard mouse is beyond me
Crapshit sensiblility, zero precision, very few buttons and not mappable...the horror
Some of us don't have the physicality for such a mouse. I have a G510 Keyboard and can't understand why people continue to play with such crappy keyboards. Nevermind that it's all about personal preference and that what someone likes isn't necessarily a good fit for someone else.
Oh, and I can map my mouse just fine and the number of buttons has nothing to do with precision.
There isnt even a comparison...
It is like saying a 1030 is as fine as a 3080
You can sure play all games with a 10 euros mouse
You can also play most game on 800x600 or with 15 FPS
Still, the difference is massive
I have a gaming mouse. It cost over $100 and gets 5-Stars from multiple, reputable sites (such as Tom's Hardware). It just doesn't have more than 10 buttons. It also gets up to 12,000 DPI...How much do you really need (2,500 is my sweet spot)?
Your opinion on this matter (based on the number of buttons that a mouse has) is rather elitist IMO.
I have a $5 Microsoft corded mouse that weights about as much as a steel teaspoon, is older than Minecraft and have subtle fingerprints on its sides, but I still wreck people's face in competitive PvP games using it all the same. Every other mouse I tried to use was either too heavy or too high-maintenance for the simplicity of the device.
It is the truth
Ive never said anything about number of buttons (mine has 20, so it is better...ahah ;D...)
OP asked about where to map Sprint...Mouse is the best place if he uses a mouse
Otherwise, there is any key he prefers on the keyboard or a controller
As a side note, elitism >>>> mediocritism anyday
I understood your postion wrong then. I was under the impression that you were speaking of an MMO type mouse that has a ♥♥♥♥-ton of buttons. I apologize for the mis-understanding.
What is "mediocritism"? Not willing to evolve because of being too set in old ways?
Yep; im sure you can play with a 5 euros 2 buttons mouse
Ive played years with these
Back in the days, there was nothing better anyway...and i still keep an old Microsoft simple mouse just in case
But once you have tried a real mouse, there is no coming back
For me at least...
And it benefits all games in the library, not one...
PZ isnt even really needing it to say the truth
Just getting used to it tales some times...few days to some weeks to be really at ease
Endorsing mediocrity
Sux, keep suxing, enjoy suxing, never try to get any better, why aim for the sky when you can aim for the floor
Dont worry, you will still get a gold medal anyway
Call anything or anyone trying to do better than that Elitist
Ok, well I wasn't calling you an elitist, I was calling the opinion elitist (which I've already apologized for being wrong about) so please be clear about that. I'm sure you can see how someone under the impression that you were speaking about a ♥♥♥♥-ton of buttons mouse might find the opinion that others without such a mouse are inferior somehow. This of course was not your overall opinion so once again, I apologize.
Anyway, we have derailled the post quite hard
I will stop there
OP should have his answer, mouse or keyboard or controller...
