Recycle or burn books?
Can I rip books into paper? Or use them for fire or something?
Right now I'm just throwing away books that I've read, to not waste precious storage space.

The only thing to consider before dropping or burning your books is do you intended to play a new character on the same save after you die, if you do stockpile them in a safe house. If you start fresh after each death then dispose of them.

I burn copy’s of the same skill books I’ve already read since I allways get a million first aid for intermediate books for some reason

I've been putting all my trash in a garbage bin, just for immersion. I had no idea you could actually delete it. Does that work for the green bins as well?

It should work with any garbage bin

Works for all garbage bins and dumpsters, you can also get rid of corpses by deleting them in the green bin :)

I've been doing the same. But if they can actually be used as fuel for grill or whatever alter on, then better keep 'em, I suppose.

Cool. I love little things like this.

Actually I would just suggest you to play without really caring for a while to figure out what is what and how is how. You will die a few times at the start until you get the hang of it, and then it is better to ask your questions. As for instance you could have just checked in the game in like 5 minutes to see if you can burn a book or not.

... come on. Why you gotta try and be mean and stuff? Let's be positive! If you really enjoy a game, it's always good to interact with the community around it a bit. Sometimes that might mean asking for help. I'm sure you could give some great advice and tips if you weren't focused on being a meanie

This was actually a constructive advice.
If you check the forum regularly, and for a while, you notice it is the same questions respawning allmost weekly, biweekly. (Some even more commonly.)

Many of these folks are new players, which is a good thing, however many of these mentioned new players, also do not take time to a) play the game, b) do a bit of research of the game, c) check and use the forum to see whether the question has been asked, there is an answer or quite often, whether they could have actually just confirmed the issue for themselves with like 2 minutes of gameplay. (Not to mention the developer site checking!)

These above make the treshold between trolls and actualy curious new players a bit blurry, regarding new posts. As I am a person, who usually first checks, searches and the like before posting a question, for some reason i have this same expectation that folks actually give it a thought before posting. And i do not think this is an overly high expectation. (When i was still learning english in elementary school, my father who is near native speaker, to answer all my questions, bought me the biggest dictionary available in my country, so that i can consult this and find my answers there. Which actually helped me a lot more to develop my english than constant asking.)

Of course there are times when folks have an oversight about things or do not notice it, like the most common thing being the Generator info and the Engine quality.

I actually google, check wiki and search forums first before starting a new thread.
I haven't found info on whether or not I can recycle books somehow. I only found that I can use paper and newspapers as fire starters.

Well for me 2 hits among the first 5, and both from forum, and via google. "project zomboid book burning"
Duckduckgo would give me: https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Campfire#Fuel for project zomboid oven fuel ( I usually use duckduckgo)

Both are among the first 5 hits.
