How to make hot beverage?
One time I managed to make a hot beverage, but I'm not sure how.
Now when I'm clicking on an empty mug, I get an option to "make cold cuppa" out of tea bag or coffee.
I tried to put a kettle of water on a stove, grabbed it when it became red, clicked on an empty mug.. and saw only "make hot cuppa". Well, that's not the beverage that I managed to make before, but whatever.
I clicked it and... I got a COLD cuppa anyway!

I'm super confused. Help!

Put kettle on oven, wait 20 or so minutes in game. (Easiest is to use dirty water, so when it becomes normal water you know it is hot.) Then don't take it off from the oven. Have tea filter/coffee in your inventory and an empty mug. Right click on the mug, and you should have the option to make one.

Oooh! Thanks... That's kinda confusing. When I took the kettle from the oven, it instantly turned from red to regular.

Yeah it does not stay hot for too long, since irl it would stay hot for like 5-10 minutes. As it is not a thermos. However because 5-10 minutes is like 10-20 seconds, by the time you click fest it it may become cold already.

I'm playing with 2-hour day, instead of 1 hour. So it's kinda weird that kettle got "cold" instantly.

Ok, I randomly stumbled upon how to make a hot beverage!

Fill mug with water - RMB on the mug with water - Add ingridients (tea, coffee, sugar, honey, etc.) - Put mug on a stove to make it hot.

That's what I did the first time and then was confused about "hot cuppa" which is a completely different thing.
