Kill zombies near car for key?

If i keep killing zombies near a car will it eventually drop a key for it?

That's a possibility. You can also check the glove box, the ignition spot, the building nearby or the ground.

Yeh i'v checked all those couldn't find it, Good to know i can probably just keep killing zombies near it.

Glove Boxes are the best place to find a car key, or just lying plainly on the ground somewhere next to the car. It was talked about some time ago, when cars came out. Keys should be spawning in glove boxes, and on the ground, and if you have loot frequency high enough it will spawn a key for each car in the glove box of every car. Having the "Lucky" trait will help immensely when searching glove boxes.

I play with the lucky trait, and I find vehicle keys about 15% of the time. And never, have I found one on a zombie.
Only house keys can be found on a zombie if you kill it inside the house.

You can find keys on zombies near the car, in a nearby house, some where on the ground nearby, in the ignition(sometimes) or in the glove box.

This is all from personal experience. Finding them on a zombie close to the care I think is the rarest occurrence, but it is possible. But I don't think you can lure them over to hope to spawn a key, I think they have to spawn near the car with a key in their inventory.

I`ve two times found a car key on a zombie, maybe you just had bad luck.

Your probably right, but I never made it a habit of trying to kill a zombie next to a car, because I did not think that worked...
