Two weapons on back.
So i know that right now you can have double holsters for 2 handguns. But i would like to see you being able to add 2 weapons to your backpack/back. One one the left one on the right.

Specifically so i can have for example a baseball bat on (1) for most interactions and a Shotgun on (2) for emergencies.

If they can do it in Walking dead... why not here XD

(also if there's a mod that does this, please link it to me :D thank you)

My buddies been using this mod for years now. it works. Even with modded backbacks from Brita, More traits, Zombie survivors, etc

Remember to get the fix as well

Yes, but I think pz is not one man army game.

I sorta like this idea. I think, just like the holster and double-holster, you should need an extra item to make this possible. Maybe the hiking bag can come with an additional "slot" for something like this.

yes exactly. have some backpacks that allow you to add a second weapon to your back

Slings for long guns would be a realistic addition.

The sling is even in the game already. Right now it only decreases the weight of the firearm. Wonder if they could add this functionality to it!

Then at the price of slowing run? Also need a progressive handicap on weight instead of a cap. If you want to wear 2 heavy weapon + large backpack, you need more strength? This is needed to balance with light stealth builds I think

No need to slow run. just add weight. plus if they add an option to hold the gun in the front instead of the back, or even both you could balance the weight.

When military and even police wear guns they are strapped to their front so they can use them or use a hand gun easily. so its not unheard of XD but i think just adding weight is better than slowing you down

Is inventory weight reduction reduced by wearing on back or in holster? If so, are they the same?

how would it break the balance ? this game is going for realism... this is a thing that people and the military do and have lol.
If anything it would make the game better

That's absolutely moddable, but I get the distinct impression that the devs are actively trying to avoid the whole gun game/fps-ish/tactical/milsim thing that most zombie/survival games engage with today?

I mean, I like tactical/gun stuff too, the only other game I really play is Tarkov, and I propably like it way more than the devs appear to, but fortunately there's a ton of mods out there that cover that ground :)

Having said that, I have had people request that I include that feature in some of my weapon hotbar mods, but I've always declined because I feel, personally, that it would interfere with the hardcore, hard mode gameplay that I personally prefer?

You can already do this by having the shotgun on your back and having the bat in your hands.

For most interactions you use the bat in your hands; for emergencies you press 1 to whip out the boomstick. When the emergency is over, right click on the bat and equip in hands.

Why not have it optional? i mean that's the point of mods, people can play a game with the experience they want.
I get that some want hardcore. Others like me prefer realism, and others like an easy cheat playthrough, everyone has their own styles. A good game needs to have the option for everyone.

Right now this game feels like its going the path of realism in a fictional scenario so, an addition of something like this would just add to it. people can chose to not wear the sling if they don't like it. that's my opinion

yes buy you would need to open your inventory every time. and the large weapons having a sling is just realistic.
