Carbon monoxide poisoning?

There could be other reasons as well.

And how do i avoid Carbon monoxide poisoning?
WillieSea Dec 10, 2020 @ 5:29am
If you have weak stomach, even not rotten food can make you sick. And hypochondriac can make you sick and die for no reason.

You're not giving much info to help with the reason, since there are so many reasons to die in the game.

But you helped me. I got a weak stomach… next time i not take that trait! But thanks man! Can you give me good character traits?
WillieSea Dec 10, 2020 @ 5:34am
Everybody has their favorite, and it really depends on your style of play.

With that said, this is what I always use.
Unemployed.

Dextrous, outdoorsman, brave, lucky, thick skinned, athletic, strong

High thirst, slow healer, hemophobic, conspicuous, hearty appetite, clumsy, slow reader

EDIT: This character build is made to RUN!

You're not dying of weak stomach, it is one of the best traits in the game.
As long as you are not trying to eat rotten food it literally does not affect your game.
Other than that I've got no idea why you've died.

One thing though, if you are new to the game, i would not advise you to choose the one suggested by WillieSea.

It is a valid build, but not meant for beginners. You would need to know the ins and outs of the game to be really able to use it, strong and althetic make it useful for beginners but hemophobic and conspicous, clums and hearty appetite may set your balance up as you are just learning the game.

For a standard beginner i would suggest playing a Lumberjack or a Fireman.
For negative traits: peaceful, smoker, slow healer, high thirst
For posititve traits: outdoorsman, lucky, cats eyes, dextrous, and organized.

These negatives are quite standard that folks usually use, and they are not that really hurting. (Smoker though requires you to smoke a cigarette, but it is also has a bonus not just a malus with the removing saddnes. So you will need cigarettes and lighter or matchest. Peaceful means you gain less xp from fighting but for an axe that would already be negated because of being a lumerjack or a fireman, and i think you should be able to take up 1-2 more traits with this build)

With this build you will have 6/5 or 6/6 str and endurance, you will have axe skill bonus. So your fighting abilities with axe are good. With lucky you have a chance of obtaining an axe quite early too.

Another advice if you just start to learn the basics, start in Riverside. That is the beginners town.
Maybe Rosewood. But Muldraugh and West Point in apocalypse mode require that you have the basics down.

I had two, three chars died to weak stomach. It can be quite deadly...your char dies very very fast unless you have an antibiotic. (Or herbal remedies.)
Literally within 2-3 days your guy gets to fever and then you rapidly lose hp and die within 3 hours. You cannot keep up with food to the damage that fever does. Also you cannot sleep in the bed unless you are at that time tired, or have sleeping pills.
(I survived on my secondary char a blunder i made, i did not notice that the food i had in the frying pan was not cooked yet, and i ate it and i only noticed why my hunger is not going away once i ate it all....thereafter an early antibiotic saved my char. Lucky i had one.)

Another common reason for "getting sick for no reason" is standing near corpses for too long

Hemophobic is offset by brave.
Conspicuous and clumsy are offset by the ability to run for long periods. Or to fight for long periods because you have brave, athletic and strong.
Both conspicuous and clumsy are offset by leveling up lightfoot, nimble and sneak.
Hearty appetite in my testing has little affect on the amount of food or how often you must eat. Just like high thirst, the negative is small.

So the build is well suited for beginners as well.

Hemophobic is actually not offset by brave. I played veteran with hemophobic. It did not work. Same rise in panic, with veteran if you had hemophobic.
There are two things that can bypass the veterans panic immunity one is hemophobic and the other one is the wake up from sleeping panic.

Concpicious and clumsy ofsetting by longer periods of running i dont know. I am not so sure about it. But that is imho.
Hearty apettite is prolly okay.

But i would say your build is just too overly complicated when there are less complicated and easier builds with better bonuses. But again imho.

Brave does help with hemophobic, as the panic goes away very quickly. It is the same with every situation where you panic, that moddle goes away quickly.

I don't understand how it is any more complex and it is no different from any number of builds I see people posting.

Then that seems to be a bug. Brave should not counter the panic that is caused by hemophobia.
You got blood on you you stay paniced. That is how hemophobic is supposed to work.
If brave makes it go away while you have blood on you or around you, well then it is not working correctly. Because currently the panic will not go away if you play a veteran and you wear bloody clothes and you have hemophobic. If brave does this without the need to do anything, than it is an obvious bug.
