Getting a Refrigerator?
Is it possible to take a refrigerator and bring it to your base? If so, which refrigerators can I do this with and how? I have seen the dismantle option on a few refrigerators but I assume this just breaks them down in to electrical parts or whatever.

You have a "pick-up" option on the top left of your screen, this way you an take props such as table, fridges, oven, etc..

Yes, you can. First of all, Fridge weighs 40 units, so the char must have enough space in main inventory to pick it up (carry less than 10 units, basically). Then you need to use the Pick up tool found on the left of the screen (looks like a box) to pick the fridge up and to place it down where you want it. Voila, there is a fridge in a base!

Being so overweight will cause you damage, so don't carry it too far. Pick it up, dump it in a vehicle that can hold its size. Do the opposite to put it in your base.

This is how I fully outfitted my new base.

Protip: you can even pick up things like hedges, so if you like a pretty base, you can make one by stealing all the stuff from the local area.
You can also pick up floors and beds and a bunch of other stuff.

You need special tools to pickup some things like wood floors and carpets.

And if you pickup a counter, and the sink, you can place both at your base, and with a rain water barrel on the roof, you can plumb the sink so it gives fresh water.

Hammer, crowbar, screwdriver. Usually the most importan tools you need to remove and take stuff to your base. Also a decent strength and skill level also helps, since it lowers the chance of destroying the item. Oh Pipe wrench for sinks:)

I think the pipe wrench is a weapon, you need the regular 'wrench' for plumbing.

Correct. Regular wrench works for both plumbing and mechanics.

I always grab one of the premium TVs and I don't really know why. It has zero real use after a couple of weeks, lol. Guess a 90s house just doesn't look right without a huge CRT TV in it.

Step 1: get large dumpster
Step 2: put by your base
Step 3: load a dead zombie
Step 4: click delete

MAGIC

clean base no stinky bodies ruining your pristine grounds ;)

The damage, at least for me, seems to plateau at around -25% of total health.

You can also equip it like other items to benefit from a 70% weight reduction (from 40 to 12).

A trainstation?!?! Dude, that's a great way to ship massive amounts of "stuff" into your base... JUST LOAD IT ON YOUR TRAIN!

I always make sure I have a big CRT TV and a VHS player just in case I have guests over late on Sat night. You just never know when someone is going to stop by and you need some popcorn and a movie.
