Well, unless you leave something burning it in I suppose.
Otherwise the antique oven is just as reliable as the regular one, you can leave the fire burning all day.
TBH i even store my firewood / kindle / newspaper inside the oven and so far it never caught fire ;)
I guess the only way to burn the house is, like electrical ovens, when you forget something cooking for too long.
Dunno bout that breh, I forgot the regular oven on like a week ago in a different save and that ♥♥♥♥ was on fire aswell as nearby blocks around it - There was nothing in it when I left it too
In either case, an explosion or fire can result from leaving food in/on it and it burns to the point of starting fires.
Oven/stove top fires are probably one of the biggest reason houses catch on fire in today's society. Unattended food cooking, burning, and catching fire. My sister almost burnt down my parents house, and my brothers house, with unattended food cooking on the stove.
And if I believe my neighbors, the house I am living in now had a big kitchen fire.
thx for essay but I only wanted to know about ingame version lol
You right click on it and the option to "Put out fire" is there. You can tamp out the fire. It will smolder for a little while(10 minutes? I think, I don't remember exactly.) And then it will be out completely.
Then you can relight it and keep using the fuel from previous uses.
You can right click and check to see how much burning time is left as well. Add fuel as needed. (Sticks and scrap wood make great fuel, don't waste planks and logs.)
