Zombies and generator?
I know that zombies are attracted to generators, do they actually attack it and make it expload? Or I do not have to worry about it?

iirc they will just clamp up around it but not actually damage it

What about building a small shed around generator? Will it also muffle the noise so that only very close zombies will hear it? Or will they not hear it at all when it is inside a house? Shed?

It will. But why not build then instead some supporting pillars, a floor board and attach it to the first floor exterior of your building? This way if you build some walls around it the zeds cant destroy those walls, easier for you to reach it for repair and refill.

Can also protect it with parked cars, which is what I do. If you block off streets should be golden.

Should see my two gas stations blocked off by cars. North of Dixie Trailer park, and in Dixie trailer park. Both have a garden too.
Now i am setting up shop in Muldraugh warehouse from where i am trying to claim the car repair shop with the small warehouse and storage lot. Will be towing there around 13 trashed cars:D

It used to be furniture barricades and then zombies became able to destroy furniture... how long do you think until zombies can crawl over, under, or through vehicles?

Get some of those concrete blocks that are near parking lots. And secure it beside the car. Voila...no crawling:)
