Can't queue books for speed reading?

Until recently, I could select several books to read and then speed time to plow through a stack. Now I stop reading after the first book and have to manually start reading a new book, even though the menu let me select several.

Might be your settings. There's one you can change that will auto stop fast forward after an action is completed when time is sped up.

Yeah, I saw that but had not turned that on since it arrived. Is it set on by default?

I have the same issue and it is extremely annoying. I tried disabling mods and verifying files but did not work.

Actually it is since last or the one before that update.
It also has affected how you are watering your plants now....

Yeah, this is more realistic, I suppose... But when you finally have time to read a bunch of magazines, this gets tedious. It's also inconsistent with other stackable tasks like filling water containers, which is reasonably limited by how much you can (comfortably) carry.
