Could it be that i am not infected?


I got jumped in a chicken coop by a zom who lacerated my skin i went crazy for 48 applying disinfectant and taking pain killers. I went on a frantic drive to the golf course to try and combat zom, i survived but i wasted a tonne of ammo and couldnt lock the place down the zom population was insane. anyway then went to riverside i am now park up besides the river, character has no moodles. Nothing, she doesnt feel infected. and i still have the bandage on the laceration. my body is OK. shes not in pain, i stopped applying disinfectant, could disinfectant cause pain? like stinging?

I am 100% sure i am infected but she is just not succombing to infection. I had am a slow healer, i am not resistant to zombie virus or infection. I survived 2 months and 9 days and killed 4744. And i am sure i am infected. but she isnt dying. she isnt getting depressed. she isnt showing any other sign. The health bar isnt reaching full.

I check the bandage after next sleep to see if wound is gone. But no i am 100% sure she infected, but

is there a chance that disinfectant has been causing pain making me feel like i am infected?

I think you're fine. If you're not, you might've noticed by now. It may take a few days until the real infection takes over, so you'll just have to wait and see.

the apocalypse is terrifying when half over grown hard to set up. try to rob the police station at least but its hard to set up. Zombies are scattery.

Depends on the settings of your infection rate, normally i set it to 10 min or so, if its not a bite i wouldnt worry, if it is a bite the suspense is always waiting to see what happens

I was confused because

Disinfectant. Removing bandages and applying it multiple times. Throughout the heal caused lot of pain. When I ran out of disinfectant, the pain symptom went away and I healed

I was militant with disinfectant on a laceration. I am thin skin.

General rule of thumb; if you get queasy and it goes to fever and you see your health rapidly declining regardless of what you're doing then yes you are infected and will die.

As far as I know it the normal setting is like 3 days until you succumb to the infection.

Lacerations are a 25% chance and scratches are a 7% chance was it? While bites are 100% mortality. You see a bite, GG, just end game.

For me personally I prefer having instant zombification and instant reanimation turned on. I get the suspense and everything of it... I enjoyed diagnosing myself but eventually I prefer to save time and such. Through this I've done alot of experimenting and studying shall we say and it's all over... at times my character had 6-7 scratches (true story) and survived. While others it was infected with the very first scratch (that's a perk of having it all instant).

Well I ate some vital jarred food thinking I’d might not get another chance to make a salad from this. And I was probably seeing things but that health bar I thought it reached to the tip of his his head and was permanently missing like 10%

Never go in a chicken coop. The zom so weak he couldn’t bust out they are sound proof sheds or something as merely days before I cleared the area and he hadn’t been awaken in the shed. Like he standing next to the chicken coop window in shadow. And didn’t respond to attempt at opening the door. Waited for me to jump through the window I wasn’t sneaking had no reason to sneak he couldn’t hear my footsteps he was literally hiding in there man
