This could well be the problem ^^^ i think sunday driver directly relates to the maximum force applied to the accelerator. Offroad means you wont move at all. While on road it feels like the car you're towing has its handbrake on.
This trait makes you accelerate and drive very slowly
Vehicle torque is not used fully...cant tow / move through zombies / drive offroad...normally
With the totally nerfed / bugged torque in 41.54, Sunday Driver is probably even worse (havent tried...)
Even 'normal dirver' has a hard time towing (only reverse towing seems to work well)
And man, a game centered on Mechanics with....Sunday Driver....strange choice ;D
Can confirm now. If your cruise is set up high and you push all 3 buttons at once, from a dead stop you will shoot out like a rocket(at least in the car I tested). lol, nice find.
There are a few posts about WHY NEVER TO TAKE SUNDAY DRIVER.
One of them being also the exceptionally high fuel consumption.
Speed demon also has higher consumption btw;)
