I would absolutely love to play with zombies docile during the day but at night turn into sprinters. Or have zombies on the lowest detection and physical settings during dusk and dawn, normal settings during the day and maximised at night. That'd be fun too. The more combination options the devs add to the sandbox the better this game becomes, in my opinion. It adds replayability and also accommodates everyones individual niche.
During the night, zombies are shamblers, but during the DAY they are sprinters and run like hell.
Would make for a pretty fun playthrough, as I would have to scavenge at night and stay indoors/sleep during the day. Add the night being pitch black and flashlights would be a must, which would add a whole new system to the game, with flashlights and batteries now being key to survival, just as much as any other resource (instead of being just a mere convenience).
However, I still couldn't bring myself to do it. It would be kinda stressful for the first few weeks of the game, when I still don't have many strategies that are proven to work against the sprinter zombies during the day, (as for one reason or another, ♥♥♥♥ might hit the fan when the sun is out), so I'm currently building the courage to do the playthrough.
