Project Zomboid

Do you leave the alarm set on your watch?
Generally speaking I almost never set the alarm on my watch unless I have a very specific mission I want to get to and it will take most of the day. Usually I just let my guy sleep in until whenever. Do people keep their alarms on if they set it? As in leave the little box checked for set alarm?

Also side question. Do alarms and watches still attract zombies? As in set it and leave it on the ground?

i dont use it for fear of walking into a building while looting to scary to think what might happen to ya if it goes off during a loot run.

Same. Though I absolute care NOT to forget to turn it off, as it can be troublesome when it starts to ring the alarm during a loot run. (Same with picked up watches allways check for alarm first:D)

Quoted for truth.

Tho, if you ask me do I wear two watches at the same time, to use one as an emergency sound distraction, you bet your bottom dollar I do!

Zeds hear beep, go broom.

I don't really have that problem, because my alarm is set for 5:30am and I'm never out looting at that time, hence the need for the alarm.

That's a good idea too.

I use two watches as well:)
And sometimes my guy does do nightly raids...especially when there is no storm, rain and there is still electricity in town!:D

Yeah, I tend to do all my looting during the day, because my guy tends to start getting tired by the time it starts getting dark anyway.

I leave my alarm set to 6am most of the time.

Selectively, I shut it down or change my wake up time as situations require.

If I am out of base and not sleeping at 6am, AND forgot to shut it off, it isn't really that loud and I can shut it off in seconds. It has never been a scary issue for me and never set me up for a death scenario. Yet.

I allways take the perk with which the char requires less sleep, during the first few days it can be a life saver. Or food saver:D
I leave it on since I have it set to 5:50 AM so i can listen to the emergency broadcast for weather etc.. but really to wake up early so I have more daylight to work with. My area is cleared of zombies that I don't worry of zombies breaking into my house due to the alarm. I've never tested it really.. if zombies can hear it. I'm just playing it safe that they do.
I never take the chance with watch alarms so I disassemble them quickly once I find them.
