Report a translation problem
I looked, but just can't find it. Is it possible it slipped out an open window or something and wandered off?
It wasn't a base, just a house I'd barely started working on. I made sure the doors and windows were shut before I died.
I'll chalk it up to a fluke since nobody else seems to have had the issue
Zombies can travel quite the distance, and sometimes it's hard to recognize them in the midst of a hoard. Although it's easier now with the animation update.
But yeah, unless you were dragged down on the spot, if you know you're going to die unload your gear and strip your character. And if you want to bury them for immersion, lock them in a room somewhere.
