Also this is a game not real life, not much of the other building makes sense either.
Lean-to's are also simple to make, having been used for centuries... Thatch roofing... Not everything needs to be as architecturally mandated as we have it IRL... Homes were being built long before engineers had a job title.
They don't have a big team and at the moment they aren't focesing on player construction. It's annoying but totally understandable, right now I think they are far more concerned with NPCs, vehicles(?) and whatever else they talk about in thier mondoids.
I think it's safe to assume we will get roofs of some fashion in time.
And ponds?
Dev's?
W-w-will we get ponds? Can we build ponds?
...
Please?
Do most people build a house from scratch or take over an existing house?
No, its rare that people build there own house.
Since you can piuck up furnitures, there is a lot you can do to decorate your house.
There is a option, build stairs and you can build your roof, heck no clue where is your problem...
Anybody remembers the time when self made roofs didnt protect you from getting wet at all?
You can pickup furniture? Had no idea.
Damn ya you can move furniture to a house you built. That really opens up this game alot for me. As if it wasnt already an epic game now its even better. :)
