Too much weapons

I don't know if I'm the only one to think that but I find tons of weapons, mostly on zombies.
I reach a point where I actualy can kill 10 000 zombies with weapons I already found and I keep finding more.
We have to manage all sort of things to be able to survive but weapons are not a real issue and it's too bad.
Too much axes, knifes, guns, spears. We don't even have to fix them.

Actualy, I am unlucky but I think it is most likely a balance problem.

You can go into the sandbox options and set the weapons rarity to the rarest

I know we can change that in sandbox, but I don't play that way.
I just think it is not well balanced. After four month in apocalypse and more than 4000 zombies killed, I still have pretty much 200 weapons of all sorts and a lot of guns too.

Well i never got to the part where i could even try to use guns:)
Though i just found two baseball bats. (First decent weapons, beside the golf club and the monkey wrench and beside these I had just a hammer.)
In some runs i find a terrible amount of axes, in others i find 0.
There is allways something rare.
Though lately my spawns are like this 0 weapons. Next two house i search well i am lucky if i find a frying pan. And i find my weapons in abandoned car trunks.

In my opinion, there is way too much "weapons" stuck upon zombies. Not always very effective but weapons anyway. The abundance of thoses tools or weapons seems a little unrealistic to me.
In other words, more you kill, more you can collect weapons. I would prefer the other way : more you collect weapons, more you can kill zombies.
Currently, we don't have to worrie at all about weapons exept at the very begining.
It's not a big issue but it seems weird to see every three zombies with a knive or something else on him.

Ok? Is there a reason for that? All you'd be doing is changing one setting to make the game a little harder. But as far as balance issues, I haven't had a problem with too many weapons.

I disagree about too many weapons not being realistic. Zombies were once people trying to defend themselves in an apocalyptic landscape. Weapons being a abundant is as realistic as it gets. If you really sit down and picture what life would be like, EVERYONE is going to have a weapon in a land of lawlessness. That's a fact.

I play on the IWBUMS version and I want to help balanced the game. Recently, a patch increase the loot found on zombies. I'm sure there is a reason for that but I don't get it.

I just share my feelings about that. And it is unrealistic that almost everyone had just enought time to stick a pen or anything on a zombie before dying.

do you mean guns? Really I don't use them that much, or the fact that everything can be used as a weapon?

I mean lets face it pretty much anything can be used as a weapon, a lot of times at start of new game I am bashing zeds with frying pan, now I don't really consider that a weapon, yes it can be used as one, same with wrenches, screwdrivers and such, yes they can be used as weapons, but I do not consider them one, or if the cops came to my house I would be under arrest for having weapons in my house, just cause I have a tool box.

Guns I find some, but do not really use them much, as fun as they are just cause more trouble they are worth.

If anything I would say not enough weapons, no bows, or things like paddles for those who like to canoe. I mean you can turn so much stuff into a weapon if you really think about it. Why there are so many, if its guns, well I can not say if I have run into to many or not, as a lot of the times, its just not worth the bother, so I won't even pick them up.

the one thing i hate about this game is there to many melee fight and not enought bullet for gun fight.... i mean it a zombie game and we need to do 90% of fight melee... witch suck to me..

i would like more bullet and less attraction from zombie...... a real zombie game...

It's not that kind of zombie game. It's closer to a simulation. Meaning that going Rambo is a surefire way to get you and everyone you care about killed. So I would argue that THIS is a real zombie game, which is what I like about it actually. There are already a ton of the zombie games you are looking for, this one isn't one of those.

I hope you are joking or trolling. Because if you bought this game thinking it was guns vs zeds man you did no research what so ever about this game.

i bought this game very early access... maybe 2-3 years or more ago... who know how it could evolve....

i just say melee fight are boring and it why i dont play this game anymore.

Pretty sure it was always quite clear that this game was never going to be a guns blazing type of zombie game and that has been clear since even before the game hit Steam. So yeah, you paid no attention to anything the devs said over those years.

Maybe just ignore them when you find them. Problem solved lol
