If people don't know how to enable IWBUMS which is basically 3 clicks, giving them a unstable and bugged version by default is like giving a gun to a monkey.
And since build 41 IWBUMS, I have seen a lot of threads complaining about performance, instability and bugs. You assume people understand what early access is, most don't.
So I'll have to agree with Fred on this one. Having the IWBUMS version a few clicks away is the best of both worlds.
No!
Even though it's Early Access, there's still a certain quality and stability expected that we currently cannot guarantee. Not a good impression for first-timers.
Not to even mention it would be seen as ripping out a big feature of the game - namely Multiplayer.
I appreciate your concern but switching the two would harm the game, not do it any favor.
This is also not something that's new to Early Access games. There are plenty of examples where the beta channel was and is used for testing newer untested features before pushing them to the masses.
