I am about a week into my playthru and i've killed about 350 zombies, its what I get for living in the middle of Muldraugh right off the highway but having killed 350 zombies I have a lot of bodies, I've been using a gas can and a lighter to burn them so far, is there a better way of body disposal? I know of the dumpster trick but that takes a long long time to do, as you can only fit 1 or 2 bodies in a blue dumpster at a time. Also in case of Helicopter where should I run too? I know it follows you for about an hour but if it does come having a place in mind would be great.

Also to note, right now I have essentially infinite gas, the power and water are still on. all settings are default on survivor mode

Also also, do the bodies on the floor below have a risk of making me sick?

1. Pile bodies in one pile, and use gas to burn the entire pile of 350 zombies.
2. Build a campfire and pile bodies on it, light campfire to burn all 350 zombies.
3. Zombie corpses can make you sick. If you hear flies buzzing...

Can they make me sick thru floors? I intend to clear those aswell but I need to know how fast.

Update on the helicopter, It came and went he didn't see me and only drug a couple of hordes close which i've already sheepdog'd away.

if you have a shovel or a trowel you can dig graves (takes about 5 seconds) and fit 5 bodies into each grave

Only issue is transporting bodies, I am using the middle of the motel as a garden and the only nearby field is behind the motel, I don't have a car big enough to move that much body mass and carrying them is slower than just piling them up and burning them.

well keep it in mind the next time. just fight in the grass behind the motel so the bodies are already where you want them. I'm assuming you turned off "corpse removal" or you wouldn't have this issue in the first place which is what I do for realism so I have to plan where I fight to make disposal easier

I never bothered with the graves, because the entire land area would become a cemetary.

350 zombies would be 70 graves.
OR
350 zombies in one pile is 1 pile of ashes.

I recommend leading the zombies away from your base before caving their heads in. Then you don't have to worry about it.

A lot of corpses also slow down your game performance. I try to make an effort of cleaning up corpses or luring them to some isolated area and hack them down there just so there arent so many corpses laying around slowing down my game.

I tend to just kill zombies everywhere, if there is one in my base area I will just go and kill it, I have 3 or 4 spots for burning so its not so cluttered
