Zombies slowing down vehicle from the back?
Yeah i know if theres a whole bunch of zombies infront of your car it will be difficult to drive forward naturally. but i don't see how zombies can slow your car down from the rear or off to the side. like in my last game there was, well yeah a mess of zombies all around but most of them were around behind me and there was maybe 3 or 4 infront of me, and yet these 4 super zombies slowed my car down to a crawl and the rest of em over took my car.

Like, engines are stronger then that, a car should have no problem plowing through 4 measly zombies. and it seemed as if the zombies behind my car were grabbing the bumper and slowing down my car even more. zombies aywhere behind the drivers seat should have no slowing effect on the vehicle it should just be whatevers infront.

Hmm strange. My complaint is the reverse. I use cars to exterminate entire hordes with rediculous ease. Even on the harshest vehicle settings it is by far my most succesful extermination method and requires very few resources. However it has largely removed the challenge from my games.

No more hitting concrete zombies and risking bites for me! Just gently knock the zombie on it's back at the lowest speed so your car won't take damage. After that all you need to do is target the zombies on their backs until you hear the satisfying crack of skulls. When the carnage is over you need to carefully trigger the crawlers hiding among the corpses and gather them in one horde to form the slow-moving targets for round two.

My cars are often surrounded by at least 40 zombies, but the fact that they slow me down only ever seemed natural to me tbh.

The only time I've ever had this problem was when I was in a vehicle that needed a lot of repairs. The game wasn't designed for zombies behind you to hold you back as far as I know, so that's not the problem.

Thanks for ruining my immersion lol. Now I have to try this.

Yeah, this was my biggest worry about adding cars into the game in the first place. Making the game waaaaay too easy. I really hope this is addressed somehow by the Devs, because I doubt this was their intention.

My best guess though, the game won't get harder again until NPC's get added in and can shoot at cars or just straight up steal them. And we all know that is a loooong ways away.
