Wrong. YouTube has already stated why they demonetized the word:
"The policy is meant to protect advertisers from being associated with videos about things like mass shootings, terrorist acts, armed conflicts and global health crises — like the coronavirus."
It was also their way of allowing only "News" organizations to cover the topic.
Bleach has been in the game for years, as someone else already stated.
