Does wearing glasses negate short sightedness?

I tried the short sighted negative trait, and started with glasses, just like a nerd like me has in real life. During an escape i tripped and fell when i plowed into a walker. I escaped but I lost my glasses during the ordeal. Once i had reached safety i realise my glasses were gone....but i didn't notice any vision difference?

Unfortunately, wearing glasses doesn't do anything. I don't know if they intend to make glasses ever do anything.

that's a shame. the fact hat glasses fly off your face rather easily, would make that trait pretty fun to have if each time your vision got affected. I can just imagine going back to the scene, hoping to recover the glasses :) Thanks for the answer.

Groping around in the grass with zombies bearing down on you! I wish reading glasses at least would knock a percentage off of Slow Reader. Then watch Elastic Glasses Strap become a Holy Grail loot find!
