Build 41: Infections go away on their own?

I've gotten 2 infections, and both I simply bandaged and went away on their own.

No anti-biotics or anything. What's the point then?

One time they wont go away and you will die.

Infection is a time eater, if you got one your wound just gonna take much more time to heal than without it. They are not lethal as far as i know, i playing with *fragile* perk and i got them almost everytime if i not *sterilize* option first and i never died becose of them.

Yeah. They drop your health and raise your pain more. For example, I had an infected wound on my leg, and my guy couldn't run really well for a few days. It's not a real problem if you're well fed and in no immediate danger. If you're on the run, though...
