Dirty clothes

As of now is there any way to clean dirty and bloody clothes?

Apparently we can use liquid soap (green bottle that you can find in kitchen containers) and water to wash it.

How much water is enough water? I have a Cooking Pot, 3 Bowls, 3 Bottles, and 3 Cleaning Liquids, all full. I have no options on either the water items, the dirty clothes, or the cleaning solution.

All items are in my main inventory, not in any container.

He's probably wrong. IRL u can't wash dirty clothes using liquid soap.

Try using bleach, i think it can be used to remove blood and "dirty" status off the clothes.

Did they seriously just add a way for clothes to get dirty, have penalties for wearing dirty clothes if you're injured, but forgot to put in a way to clean them?

Edit - So apparently they did put a way in, but you need the the pretty (ridiculously) rare Soap that's in bathrooms. And 3 units of water. Soap also only has about 10 uses.
So basically we now have to
A) run around naked,
B) strip your old zombie kills and wear their clothes,
C) continuously take your clothes on or off whenever you need to get your hands dirty, or
D) get abnormally giddy when we find Soap.

All the choices will make you act like a deranged pervert. I don't think they thought this change through when they implemented it.

For me it works only with soap bars which you can find in bathrooms...sometimes but rather rarely. The authors could add possibility to bleach clothes to remove bloody stains. I don't know what to think of it yet. I expected to be cover in blood after fighting and killing Z. But nothing happened. My character got dirty only when she moved corpses and buried them. If rain effects on character (you can catch a cold or get ill with fever from wearing wet clothes) it should effect on dirty clothes too. Like for example rain could wash off dirt or blood from it.

Green liquid is for the dishes. Hopefully, we don't have to wash the dishes in game yet. THAT would be pain in the ass! :)

I couldn't wash clothes with the bar of soap and water. Later, I closed the game to do some stuff around the house and when I opened the save file to play, washing was an option with the soap. It is almost as if the soap didn't register until the save file was loaded... odd...

In that case I don't know what to tell you. Guess you'll just have to wear dirty clothes forever like a hobo. It's not so bad once you get used to it I guess. You stop noticing after a couple days.

The soaps you have are likely the old version of soap, theres a new soap in the game now which looks just like the old soap. The new soap are drainable like pills, you should see a green bar on it.
