Birch Bark?

I went foraging about today, and found some birch bark. Does it do anything? Or is it just a random item that does nothing?

For example, some may have edible flowers (e.g. Wisteria), or edible flowers and fruit (e.g. elderberry, Sambucus), but all other parts of the plant are poisonous. It is part of the Hydrocraft mod. Not sure if edible but it is used in some crafting recipes, according to this wiki:
