Server password & admin problems (on Nitrado)

Hi, so I rented a server from Nitrado again after me and my buds played in 2017.

Everything was fine & we started playing yesterday. We wanted to spawn a couple of things so I wanted to login with my default Nitrado admin account - but it didn't work if I used it via the hosting interface because Nitrado has problems with setting up new player accounts and giving admin rights within their dashboard.

The problem is now also tha tI clicked my account and ticked "add admin rights" and had to input my password and clicked save. This borked up my account too as if you do any changes on Nitrado dashboard to any of the accounts, you wont be able to login ingame it will always say "Wrong password or username".

So NOW I would like to know, since I have access to dashboard & all files - where can I find a list of passwords & accounts on my server, so maybe I can manually change it? Which files is it usually?

Also, can I manually somehow create an admin account? With this bug on Nitrado, we hence cannot use admin powers in our game, which is a bit ridiculous. Just got off the phone with them and they said they cannot confrm when thsi bug will be fixed.

Thirdly, which options do I have to tick to have our Server passworded, but when creating account or joining a new character - no personal password is needed?

First question:
Usernames are saved in "Zomboid/db/servertest.db"
It is a database file, so you will need to use a db editor, for example sqliteadmin and edit the database file to edit the login information there.

Second question:
You can type "addusertowhitelist Name Password" or "adduser Name Password" in the console or while in game as an admin to add a new name to the server. Then you can type "setaccesslevel Name admin" to make that character an admin character.

Third question:
In the servertest.ini, the line "Password="
You can add the password after the = , I am not sure if Nitrando somehow limits access to those files or if they have a different way to set passwords.

Beard - the problem is that I cannot access the games as an admin. I don't know what the default admin password is. And I cant create new usernames or users via Nitrado dashboard as their password input window is bugged and it borks up any user and their password.

Also, I tried entering the db file with DB viewer but all passwords are encrypted

Does anyone know what the default admin password is on Nitrado?

Hey Guys, This is more to serve anyone googling that come across this.

So in your web interface, stop your server. Then down the options at the left side, in the tool section, click on player control. There you can set admins and moderators.

the default admin pwd for nitrado pz servers is "changeme"

When I hit "player controls" it takes me to a poorly written blog [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1256335346] on, what I'm going to assume, incorrect ways to make the people who own the server an admin.

I would assume player controls but it appears it's being linked to a blog. I don't know. Very frustrating.

1. Enter the Control Center and stop your server.

2. Enter the General option in the settings menu.

3. In the "Basic Configuration" section, go to the Admin Password option and
enter your password.

4. Click the Save Changes option and Start your server.

5. Start your game and create a user with the name "admin" (all lowercase) and
use the password you set.

6. Log into the server with that user and you should have administrator
control.

1) open web interface

2) stop server

3) click general on the left side where it says admin password enter a password

4) launch PZ look for your server enter desired name and password for the character you want to play, start game and spawn in then quit to menu.

5) go back to your server enter admin all lower case for your name and then input the password from the password field you used on nitrado. start game and spawn in.

6) open chat and enter /grantadmin username for username enter the name of the character your created in step 4. it will confirm that name is now and admin. exit to menu and play your character.
