Gathering metal tubes

I'd quite like to create a buffer zone between my base and the outside, and I figure that the big wire fence or big pole fence is the way to go, so a couple of questions:

- Can you shoot or melee through them.
- Where the hell do you get enough metal tubes to actually build it???

I don't think there are enough baths and kitchen sinks for me to dismantle to get at those metal tubes, or is the amount you get back effected by your metalworking level?

Actually u can attack through these kind of fences but a melee or close gun attack will also damage the fence. If u hear the "chopping wood" sound the fence will get damage.

Cars are a very effective barrier. Place vehicle close to each other around your base, u can enter by taking a seat, switch to the other side by V key and leave the car.

Zeds cant break or move parked vehicles.
