Mouse cursor not showing

I downloaded the demo. The scaling on 4K TV is bad. Game menu and fonts are extremely small and the mouse cursor would not show at all.

I reinstalled the game, restarted my computer, mouse cursor still not showing so I can go to settings and change the display setting. Is there a file or something I can change in the folder to reset graphic settings?

I got the cursor back but no matter what I did the fonts are so tiny and I cannot read them even when 5 feet away from TV. I'm just wondering why this wasn't fixed? The game was and still in early access from 2013!!

FIXED - Go into your mouse settings in Windows - Turn OFF (uncheck) "Mouse Pointer Trails" or search "Mouse Pointer Trails" and turn that sucker off. Now launch. Mouse appears and stays there.
