Digging up Graves

So my friend dug a grave for my newly infected corpse and as I got back realized he hadn't taken anything off of it so I grabbed my shovel to try and dig up the grave and nothing. I dont know if its not implemented or not but I just lost a ton of stuff and was wondering if there is a way/if theyre going to implement it. Googled it but I kept getting "cant dig graves" posts so I figured I'd try opening up a discussion here

yeah my bud threw me in and now I cant dig it up or see my old inventory :C

Unfortunately you can't dig up graves at the moment. It's the only way to "delete" items that I know of. I'm afraid your stuff is gone...

I haven't heard about any plans to add it.

Yeah, you cannot pick up a corpse that has been put in a grave.
But there is another way to dispose of items, which is to put them on corpses and then burn the corpses, the only thing left will be ashes, which you can remove with a shovel.

Trash bins can delete stuff if you don't feel like using corpses to dispose it

putting a body in the Grave is same as deleting trash from garbage bodies gone soon as it goes into the ground

Any large trash bins can also dispose corpses, good quick way to deal with a few bodies.

If playing in MP you need host to enable delete function, by default it turned off to prevent griefers delete all items in server.

imo dig graves is just for roleplay but not an effective way to dispose corpses, adjust removebodies timer is much better. You know when you play on insane polulation you just don't have time to deal with corpses even it cause so much lag for server.
