car should be burned up

Ok hopefully I got this right, but kinda cheesed my fishing spot, had bad luck finding stuff to to fish in first place, then when I got close of course set off an alar.

I was like man if I ever get a molotove all you zeds are done.

got some wisky after forever, but yeah car should be burned in process, even wires so siren does not go off, or things like tires melted so you can not do this with a good car, and half to walk home

instead after a 12 hour burn got in to car which took no damage

It would be really cool if they after cars catch fire if they get damaged to much

They wouldn't explode and are unlikely to catch fire, but a fuel leak if the car takes too much damage to the front (or wherever the fuel tank is located) wouldn't be that unlikely. It would need some sort of ignition after that to start a fire and the fumes (I think) can be ignited, so the spark wouldn't even need to touch the fuel. If you tried driving a heavily damaged car it might catch fire (especially if you crashed it), but it's not like Hollywood, cars don't explode on contact.

I never said like hollywood, but cars do burn. and after that fire, I drove that car away, with no damage to it at all, that should not happen, tires would be melted, all the wiring burned up.

I get its a cheesy way to get rid of zeds, and I did not have to do it, but was tired of so many being by that lake.

Cars do burn, it's a couple of minute worth I reckon. I was stuck in traffic once, due to a burning bus... I guess the denser combustable (i.e. seats) to area made it much much worse.

Oh, sorry I was replying to Yuna, I probably should have made that more apparent.

As for torching a car, it should be very heavily damaged and probably non-functional, but I don't know enough about the internals to be sure.

Neither do I, but intuition is somewhat a good guide.

I don't think you looked at his image. the car is ENGULFED in flames. Not only would all of the non metals burn (paint, upholstery, carpet, plastic, wire insulation), but the fire under the tank would cause the gas to expand and blow off the gas cap. The gasoline would become aerosol and ignite instantly. At the same time, the pressure would equalize and the tank would suck in fresh air. BOOM
