You cant, it is a permanent trait

Once you have made a character with it, it will stay for the rest of the character life

As far as my limited experience tells, you can only remove traits, that become redundant when you counteract their effect through training, i.e. lower starting physical stats.

I don't think your character can (so far) quit smoking, stop being a scarypants, strengthen his immunity, learn how to walk straight, fix his Circadian rhythm etc.

Not sure how it'll work out so I suggest backing up your save. So...

Right click on Project Zomboid in your steam game library > Launch options > write "-debug" in there (without the quotation marks, but with the dash) > launch the game and load your save > ingame, click on the new symbol that appeared on the left side > go to "player's stats > you'll know what to do from there.

When you're done, just quit the game and remove the "-debug" from the launch options.

Thank you! It was very easy to delete the sunday driver trait with the debug menu.
This trait was so annoying. I thought it was a good idea to take the sunday driver trait because i thought i dont need so much speed but after a while i realised that its not only the speed that is reduced and it gets very annoying.

Yeah fuel consumption is i think at least 1,5 too. There was about 1.5-2 years ago a heavy debate about it. Some guy tested out both Sunday driver and speed demon in regards of consumption. And both had increased fuel consumption.

Thats also interesting and i never recognized it. But thats because i didn´t notice it.

the main problem i had was that i often couldn't tow vehicles properly and that i couldn't make any headway on grass and in some situations.
