My friend cant join me or i cant join him either.

Hey there, everytime i/him trying to join the server a missing file error will occur and i googled it some developers said the files should be deleted as they no longer exist in game. so we tried to delete every error and they wont finish. so im here to see if anyone gonna lend me a helping hand.

You tried play last IWBUMS BUILD? With animation's, vehicles and etc? You can't play this in multiplayer how I know or if you play common version not beta Idk why you have problems

Really don't know try check cash, reinstall game but I'm not gurantee what this will save progress

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Can you tell us what the exact error is? The fix for it should be to follow the path to the file mentioned in the error and then delete the whole folder where that file was.

After that, verify your game files:
Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files

Make sure both your and your friend do this.

Yep, that should do the trick, there is nothing in those game files that will make you lose progress, and after verifying those files will redownload.

Yes, delete the whole media folder, then verify. That deletes any corrupted files and redownloads them.
