Always Depressed and Terrified - Bug?

I have those 2 moodles non stop, especially the Terrified moodle is weirding me out though.

That my character is depressed is somewhat understandable because I let him eat even dog food - what does he expect the zombie apocalypse to be, a picknic? -, but for some reason he is ALWAYS terrified. For the life of me, I do not know how to how to keep this moodle down. Even when I am reading a lot of books and newspapers, I just lower it temporarely, as if it the angst level was going upwards non-stop. That makes my character not sleep well at night, I think, because he is always waking up paniced, even though I am assidously cleaning out the neighbourhood. I can hear very faint zombie noises, as if they were very far away, almost not audible, unless I focuss on it... So I am wondering: Is this a bug, where the game thinks my character is always near a zombie without there being any zombies within my proximity?

have you been bitten? if so you may be infected, I read somewhere that is how you know you are.

What traits did you pick for your character when you created it?

I had the same thing with an hemophobic character. After I washed myself, the moodles stopped until I got blood soaked again.

I have not been infected. My character is hemophobic, but neither claustrophobic nor a smoker.

Also I am not having any wounds that I am treating right now (or had for that matter).

You'll need to change your bloody clothes and wash the blood from your body to get rid of the panic/anxiety.

Uhhh, if that is the case, it totally sucks. Soap is so hard to come by and it is used in great quantities, so I would not even be able to wash all of my clothing even if I wanted. Is it enough, if my clothes are mostly clean from blood?
Soap should be found more often in bathrooms then imho.

You just need to wash ´yourself’ at a sink or other water sources. No soap needed and washing clothes is not required.

That is something I have been doing on a somewhat regular basis actually. Hmm. I'll do it more frequently.

Hemophobic, scared of blood.
If you are killing zombies, you are going to be afraid because you are spraying blood everywhere.

I counter hemophobic with the brave trait, which helps in every situation to stay calm.

What do you mean?

"Panic when performing first aid on self, cannot perform first aid on others, gets stressed when bloody"

Seems pretty clear to me.
