Hotwiring a car
So I have 2 Mechanical 1 Electrical.
I have hotwired the car.
It does have full gas, and everything is green.
It tries to start but wont, no matter how many times I try.
Anyone have any idea what I'm not doing right?

Are you sure it's hotwired? You can't always do it for the first try, you should see wires hanging from the ignition if it's hotwired.
Or dead battery maybe?

yes its hotwired. Wires are hanging out of the ignition.
No the battery is not dead. its at near pristine condition with 100% juice in it.

Also in relation to battery condition, I'm going to assume that if the car is making that turn over sound, it means that the batteries have juice in them.

Sometimes cars won't start at the first try. That can depend on the weather and the engine condition.
Keep trying.
Surviving in pz is a matter of will.

thanks for the replies, I just gave up on hotwiring. Found a crappy car with keys.... :(

I've never seen this happen before. I would have to guess there is something else wrong with the engine. I'd encourage you to try hotwiring another vehicle, and see if the result is the same.

You could share a screenshot of the car that won't start-- could help us narrow down the issue.

Engine condition? Also.. Engine quality? If its very low, could explain why your engine doesnt start.

I'll try getting a screengrab of the car with its condition panel open.
I mean the engine condition is green, and nothing is under 80%. So if there another parameter on the engine that is critical, it isnt well conveyed on the car status window.
Is the battery actually full?

Battery charge and condition are separate. You have to click on a battery to see how much charge is remaining.

That's a link to all of your screenshots. You also did not post any Project Zomboid screenshots.

its the first or second photo.
if its gonna take me longer than 10 minutes to figure out how to do it then it aint worth my time.
I'd rather be playing Project Zomboid!!

ok for some reason the photo that I uploaded was set to private, not sure how that happened but it's been changed to public... at least that process was obvious and straightforward.

I had a perfectly good (well fair to average tbh) pickup truck stall out on me while navigating a crowded street and I ended up getting bit through the window trying to get the thing started again. Some cars just hate you and want you to die.
