Any way to know the global zombie population ?
For realism i set no zombies respawing, but with very high starting population and i'm asking myself how many i have to kill to end the apocalypse.
The necroforge debug menu cant help, cause you see only the number of zombies on the area loaded around you.

Thanks

Sorry to tell you, but you cannot end the apocalypse. They keep respawning over time.

not if he set the option in sandbox to prohibit zed respawning.
honestly I feel like a lot of people don't even realize the sandbox options exist when I read people complaining about getting infected or that there are too many zeds to loot towns... people... you can change all those things and make it the game you want to play.

You can prevent zombies to respawn in SANDBOX mod. Ever click on it ;)

You can disable respawn, its in the Sandbox settings for years.

I want to know the answer to this question too. I like the idea of eliminating every zombie as the ultimate ultra-hard win scenario in a playthrough.

This was asked a long time ago, before the map was enlarged and the number was 10.000+

With friends, we played a multiplayer world for one year. Our kill count was approximatly around 75.000. Some cities were kinda clean, but some nots. And we just really focuses on one city, Muldraugh (even if we gone to others cities to shoots zombies for hours or loot nice shops)

The number 10.000 is very underrated ;)

We are talking about no respawn! And like i said this number is some years old, before the map was enlarged.

And iam talking about the vanilla game, every modded map will add extra zeds.

Our set up was no respawn ! Thats what i m talking about. We already killed more than 75k, and there's still lot. The Rosewood Penitenciary is around 1600 zombies. The Mall complex has also an insane population, i cant number it yet. And even with no respawn, you have to wait long for forests/fields zombies comes to town, but they will, and they are a lots.

Like i said before the map was enlarged.

Yeah, a while ago. Not really to my taste to mess with the game too much.

Migration will cause issues, yes you could clean out an area, but events will drag them towards you (and sometimes away, as I noticed two games back), so use necroforge again and again and tell us how it goes as you thin the amount and others move in.

Eventually it could slow to a trickle, or you may be safe for a very long time, some will still be out there (and likely stuck in forests). If you kill them all that would be amazing.

How much time has passed? When you take a drive, assuming your cars still work, are there still many on the roads?
