Are the models in new builds going to be old runescape detail level?
I played Runescape when I was like 12/13 and the character models were more detailed and had much nicer and smoother shading. This was almost 20 years ago...

I'm talking about Runescape, almost 20 years ago. Not over 20 years ago. Nice try using the original 1999 Runescape models. I said almost 20 years ago pointing towards "Runescape" which was the name of the 2002-2007 version. The character models were the same if not better (especially better cosmetics) than the character models that have been released in project zomboid's latest update.. In 2020. Almost 20 years after Runescape had the same level character model lol.

EnigmaGrey reported for deliberate attempts at misleading consumers. Screenshot the player model in game currently then look up Runescape or Runescape 2 as it is informally known and compare the models. Then let it sink in that these games are literally 19 years apart.

So what is your point?

A game can go with a 'style' of graphics/models. I have a game called 'Salt' where the characters looked like gumby!

Just because this is 2020 does not mean every game has to have the highest resolution graphics in game. If that is what you are looking for, then perhaps you should have skipped this game when you saw the trailer on the store page.
