Or if you have enough bags - do the same thing, but this time with bags containing tied logs.
That's how I made my trip from logging site to building site.
Yes, you can find them in hardware stores, but exactly how many hardware stores are there, and in what quantity? You need 4 ropes just to tie up one bundle of logs. (Unless that was changed recently as well.)
I'm new to the game. Am I doing it wrong?
If you tie 3 logs together, they weight 3 each for a total of 9, instead of 9 per log. You can just aswell go to the building site and unstack the logs, and saw them there. No real difference in that regard.
I wouldn't suggest to tinker with bags on the ground, as it has a probability of crashing the game, especially if you put bags within bags accidentally.
Hydrocraft mod has devices to move large number of items. Such as wheel barrows and lifts.
Also making ropes is easy as you can convert clothing -> sheet rope -> rope -> heavy rope.
Meaning you can make non stop ropes from zombies.
cool, i'll check that out
It matters - if you play hydrocraft you should play with increased difficulty. The idea of hydrocraft is actually giving you a purpose to play beyond a certain point.
If the hydrocraft developer is using the test branch he has nothing to worry about.
