HELP cannot get into my car
First time i used a car, i tried to use it to move loot and filled it to the top. But now i cannot enter again as i filled every spot. Is there a way to remove stuff from it without entering the car? I tried smashing a window and even removing a door. If not then is there a way to recover the loot at least? Maybe smash the with a sledge-hammer? HELP !

I heard you can move it from the car to the ground and that works.

I never filled a car driver seat since, well, how would you drive if you fill the seat?...

How did you manage to fill every seat without being able to sit in a seat? My only advice is to try and get into a seat, which will try to transfer any items on that seat to another seat, hopefully if there's enough space in the car, you'll be able to get in.

I was already in the car, filled all the seats entirely, then excited. All seats are fulled so it will not be moved.

How can you do this? I cannot see the container unless I am physically inside the car (except for the trunk).

Are you trying to get back into the same seat you were sitting in before?
I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to put stuff on the seat you're sitting in, that one should be still empty, unless it's a bug.

No can confirm none of four door are letting me in. And from my memory I did fill all five (including middle back seat) seats.

I think we're all a little confused... because you can't fill a seat you're sitting on... So wouldn't the seat you were sitting in when you transfered the items still be empty when you got out of the vehicle?

It shouldn't be possible to fill every seat with items. If you could try standing next to one of the car doors (inside green square on the ground), then press 'E'. This should start to shuffle around all the items off the seat you're trying to get into (you'll see the green progress bar above your character), don't press anything until your character has finished transfering ALL of the items (progress bar stops), at this point you should automatically jump into the car. If you don't, then something has gone wrong...

You can access the seat inventory from outside of the car. Hit V while next to the door, then "Open Door". If dragging to your inventory doesn't work, try dragging to the ground (the checkerboard icon).

This. Thanks @Pherdnut.
The 'V' key is used to access the vehicle your standing next to from outside the vehicle.

Ho man thanks heaps for that!

So what I think happened is that I filled every seat except from the one I was standing in then tried to open from a different door, which starting putting stuff on the available seat. I wasn't aware of that shuffling mechanic. Then all seats had stuff on them and I was stuck. Not sure but also thing that at that point the shuffling might have been bugged as I could not see that green bar anymore.. anyway!

What confused me also is that I clearly remembered filling all five seats of the cars, but then I realise that this specific car have 6 seats.

Again thaks heaps all of you, great comunity.

It's actually been a thing since the cars were introduced and there's quite a bit you can do using that menu. But now you know. And knowing is half the battle. :)

Really glad to have found this. I was pilfering a warehouse and loading my car to capacity, including the other 3 seats. But when I tried to get into the car, I accidentally clicked the wrong door and he started moving stuff to the driver's seat, and it left me unable to enter any of the doors. :steamsad: :steamsalty:
