Crafting Metal Sheets (Need Help Here)

I am befuddled.

I am holding a propane torch full of propane. I am holding a propane tank (just to be sure). I am wearing my welding mask. I have 4 small metal sheets in my main inventory. I have read The Metalwork Magazine Vol.4. Several times. Again, just to be sure.

I click on the sheets, on the torch and on the mask. No option to craft a metal sheet. I check the Wiki again. Yes, it's propane, mask, 4 sheets. I drop the sheets and try to weld them together on the floor. I have tried everything, and I can't get the option to craft a damn metal sheet to pop up.

What am I doing wrong here, guys?

I'm so confused. I feel like I'm missing something or this is an odd bug that's just messing with me. I even tried putting welding rods in my inventory, but that didn't work either!

Try to select the inactive crafting recipe in the 'B' menu and look for what is missing. Follow the evidence where it leads.

Figured it out.

Wiki says Metalworking 4 or The Metalwork Magazine Vol.4. It is wrong. You require both. Either this is a recent change or it was always this way and whoever wrote the Wiki entry just got it wrong or didn't care. Either way, kind of a letdown. Why even have the magazine?

Ok so here's the deal. You just need the welders mask, propane torch and the small metal sheets in your main inventory and you need a metalworking skill of level 4. If all of those requirements are met you can either right click on the metal sheets to get the option or use the aforementioned crafting menu to craft them.

Yeah, I saw that right after I hit post. I think the wiki is probably a bit outdated honestly. It's fine if you're just trying to find the most basic info, but some of the in depth stuff can be a little off. Glad we got you going in the right direction now though. Lol
