Do zombies attack containers?
Sadly the place I'm at is a remote small house from town and has no space for extra containers.
So I'm deciding to put my containers outside. Is it possible for them to attack my containers? Thanks.

I haven't seen them go after crates in games where I still put a lot of my stuff outdoors. I say mostly because I have seen them go after player-made walls on rare occasion but I'm not sure what sets it off and it never seems to happen while you're away. But if they move as a herd, they'll smash crates, walls, rip your 2nd-story window ropes down (always have a spare handy by the window), etc.

Wooden crates CAN be stacked FYI. That seemed bugged to me at first but if you place the crate as if you were trying to place at the bottom-most crate's position, it works.

Anything you can find in a warehouse can be found here. And there's logs everywhere. Particularly at the log depot area to the left. Save your axes and wood glue repairs for zombie heads. Also, lots of cars. The nearby construction area should probably be cleared out early in case of helicopters though. It's always infested.

I'm 99% sure they don't attack containers.

In fact, it used to be a nice "exploit" to build crates outside in front of windows, and the zeds couldn't climb through.

It seems player-built crates no longer have collision detection, so it no longer works. Fine by me, was kind of lame being able to build "walls" out of crates that the zombies would ignore.
Player made yes, the rest maybe.

every time a large group of zombies wandered around my house, not only they attacked my walls but also the garbage bins, I don't know if it's the same on crates
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
