Leather Working
Just an idea, and it would probably be more applicable when the new animations, clothes, and backpacks come out, but leatherworking might be a neat skill to have. Definitely one that would be useful in the apocalypse. Being able to make armor, clothes (buckskin), backpacks, etc. might come in pretty handy.

Perhaps after animals make their appearance, this might be useful. Unless you plan on making leather out of zombie skin...

Although the dev team has stated that they won't include ways to disguise yourself from zeds, this would be a twisted and neat feature to have without disguising benefits.

In general I definitely agree that leather working would be a really neat feature. In general one of the things PZ feels like it lacks is more makeshift/survivalist crafting options, although over the years it has certainly gotten better.

Leatherworking is an existing thing in Hydro.
What i cnt understand, why devs dont implent Hydro into the main game. After a small cleanup, ofc.
Ik there are lots of duped recipes, items with same function, and useless things... But Hydro recipes contains most of the things what players want to be in the game.
Ik Hydro is tooooo much for a new player... Devs shoud add a "light" and a "copmlex" version to the game.

Hydrocraft is a bit of an easy mode mod in some ways, not to mention the lack of polish for most features which makes the devs implementing these things on their own and in their own way more practical.

Some ways its easy, if u know the recipes, and know how to use them. (Gather Flora example)
Im agreed, its needs lot of "polish" before it woud be ready to implent to the main game.
But (my opinion, and im not an IT expert), it woud be more easier to devs to clean up and polish Hydro, and add it to the game.
