https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1424177606 By the way, this is where I live. Is this location any good to live?
I found this on the PZ wiki in articule about zombies: "At times, helicopters flying overhead, gunshots being fired, dogs barking and humans dying in the distance will attract and move hordes of zombies. This is zombies reacting to the metagame, so that the zombies will migrate around the map. The metagame is in charge of creating zombie movement patterns around the map, to properly distribute them and make a balanced gameplay."
This confirms that any loud background sound attracts zombies. If my game did not save the progress, then there is still chance I won't have to leave my house (my game was not responding and I closed it). I really do not want to. I only need a few more things to be able to make a big progress.

When I was scavenging my new house I heard dog's barking. Yes, another metagame event. And yes, after only 10 in-game hours.
I am so scared at this moment. I do not know what I should do: look for a new house because of a horde of zombies incoming or just ignore that and pray it is a false alarm/
Edit: I tested this by letting a small group of zeds live outside my house for a while. When dogs barked or someone screamed they didn't start to migrate and just continued to live outside my base until I went and cleared them.
Edit 2: I'm not saying it will always be this way and maybe eventually they will attract zombies, but as of this moment they do not.
EDIT False alarm. Helicopter was here for a few seconds.
Right. I did not find any zed yet.
The house remained heavily infested for some time after the incident. I only got to observe this as the house I was using had a high fence around it and it was easy to spot the Zombies streaming towards the scream.
