Good to know, do they seek out and destroy them? Or do they just end up as collatoral damage?
I had no idea I could do this, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant!
- turn off all lights in my house
- close all curtains / put sheets (blankets) on windows with no curtains
- switch off any tv / radio (if there´s some in the house)
- turn off lights on the outside of my house
- do a initial cleaning around the house and the nearby area
- barricade windows on both sides (inside / out) asap -> get my planks from neighbour houses where i destroy doors or i destroy / dismantle doors within my house
- build some log walls (axe needed!) to close the space between my house and my neighbours so that the neighbour house will become part of the outer wall and Zs will need to travel much longer (check where Zs are coming from, there are usually some "main routes")
- turn off lights and tv / radios in neighbour houses
- put sheetropes on every window on 1st floor -> be aware that some windows on 1st floor are horizontally not on the same position as the ground level, if you slide down you might end up in the infested living room instead of outside!
- Zs can´t climb but pull down your sheet ropes so i usually have some ropes (2 per floor) and a nail lying as reserve next to the window (don´t forget the hammer)
That´s correct but be aware that you need a sledgehammer for this.
Were there any RNG events? (Shots in distance, dog barking, someone screaming, heicopter passing over?) Because these lead zombies in the direction of the sound in mass and they will steamroll through neighborhoods, going through houses, breaking windows and doors and tearing stuff up.
If not that, you could have maybe had rotten food or blood stained clothes. Remember, zombies have a good sense of smell too, so if you're not keeping clean, they can pick up on that if they're in proximity to their sensory range.
This makes it so basiclly the zombies only come after you when they are provoked (they hear you see you or smell you)
